Tommy's Shockwave rods are built by American craftsmen with top of the line components.  Each rod was specifically designed by Tommy for a very specific applications.  Each of these designs was based on years of fishing experience and the blank chosen for each one is a perfect match of the his favorite “go to” rod for the particular situation.  These are the rods you will find Tommy fishing with every day.

Tommy designed rod number TM1001 for heavy duty worm and jig fishing in thick underwater cover.  It is also a great rod for pitching and flipping worms or jigs in heavy matted hydrilla.  It will also serve as a frog rod when fishing in heavy cover.
Tommy designed rod number TM1002 as a worm and jig rod.  It is a little lighter power than the TM1001 and is great for bigger worms and jigs in heavy underwater cover.
Rod number TM1003 was designed by Tommy for worm and jig flipping soft plastics and jigs in all types of cover.  It is the rod he uses for flipping and pitching in matted hydrilla.
Rod number TM1005 was designed by Tommy for close quarter accurate casting of small and medium shallow or deep diving crank baits from ¼ to 5/8 ounce.  This rod has just the right tip action to make those accurate casts and enough backbone to land big fish.
TM1006 is the rod that Tommy uses most of the time when he is guiding on Toledo Bend and Sam Rayburn.  He designed this rod especially for 4” to 7” soft plastics and 1/16 to 5/16 ounce slip sinkers.  It is also perfect for fishing ¼ to 5/8 ounce jigs.  This rod is incredibly light as are all Shockwave rods.
TM1007 is the ultimate crank bait rod for big deep diving crank baits from ½ to 7/8 ounces.  This rod was designed by master crank bait fisherman Robert ‘Speedy’ Collett, the legendary fishing guide on Falcon lake and Mexico’ famous Sugar lake.  Speedy designed this rod 8’ long to enable anglers to make very long casts so they can get the big diving plugs to their maximum depth.  This rod is extremely light and durable and weighs about one half as much as a typical 8’ crankin’ rod.
Tommy designed TM1008 as a drop shot/Senko rod to use 10# to 14# line and ¼ to 3/8 ounce weights.  He uses a Zoom trick worm most of the time.  Using a casting rod rather than a spinning rod puts the fisherman a better position to land bigger fish.  This rod also makes a great Senko rod using 10# to 14# line.
TM1009 is just the right length and action to fish top water baits ranging from 3/16 to ¾ ounce.  This rod has a soft tip for casting and is very flexible for fighting and landing big bass.
A longer Carolina rig rod is advantageous because it allows a fisherman to take up more line than he can with a shorter rod.  TM1010 has the added benefit of being very light.  Tommy’s Carolina rig rod will allow one to make longer casts and still have the sensitivity to feel the most subtle strikes and has plenty of backbone for solid hook sets and playing big fish.
Our TM1011 Frog Rod is extremely stiff for fishing frogs in heavy cover like milfoil, pads, pepper grass etc. Although it is light in weight it has plenty of backbone and durability to pull big bass out of heavy cover.
TM1012 is Tommy’s favorite rod when he is casting big 10 inch worms or ¾ to 1 ounce jigs.  He has always wanted to use a longer rod for this purpose and now he can because Shockwave rods are extremely light in weight.  The longer rod allows one to make longer casts and allows more line take up on the hook set.  It also makes a great frog rod when using Toads and Ribbits.
